On June 1st, 2016, an anonymous user compromised the BrawlBRSTMs3 channel on YouTube. BrawlBRSTMs3 was a popular channel that regularly uploaded extended rips of video game music onto YouTube for the enjoyment of other people.

New Super Smash Bros. DLC

Today, 2 new stages and several Mii Fighter Costumes for Super Smash Bros. Wii U & 3DS were released on the Nintendo eShop.

Twitch User Account Information May Have Been Accessed in Hack

Yesterday, Twitch released a blog post to inform their users that “there may have been unauthorized access to some Twitch user account information.” They also said “We will communicate directly with affected users with additional details.” Here’s a screenshot of the email I received:

Playstation Network & Xbox Live Unavailable on Christmas Day


Starting yesterday evening, users of Xbox Live and Playstation Network have had issues connecting online. The online issues seem to be coming from a hacking group called the Lizard Squad, a group that proclaims themselves cyber terrorists. The attacks were planned from their twitter page, @LizardMafia. The main reason why this hacking occured was due to a “battle” between two hacking groups, the Finest Squad (@FinestSquad) and the Lizard Squad.

New Set of Amiibos Revealed!

The third wave of Amiibos was revealed earlier today on Nintendo of Japans twitter page. The following characters are included:

  •  Lucario
  • Rosalina & Luma
  • Bowser
  • Toon Link
  • Shiek
  • Ike
  • Meta Knight
  • King Dedede
  • Shulk
  • Sonic
  • Mega Man

This wave is set to be released in February of 2015.


With this, there is a grand total of 30 individual Amiibos. Keep in mind that these are not exclusive to Smash, games like Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors will be compatible with Amiibo as well.
