Sega Removes 16 Games from Mobile Stores

A few weeks ago, Sega announced the removal of some games from the App Store and Google Play Store. These games include:

  • Afterburner Climax
  • Altered Beast
  • Columns Deluxe
  • Ecco the Dolphin
  • Golden Axe
  • Golden Axe 2
  • Golden Axe 3
  • Jet Set Radio
  • Phantasy Star 2
  • Space Herrier II
  • Streets of Rage
  • Streets of Rage 3
  • Super Monkey Ball
  • Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition
  • Super Monkey Ball Bounce
  • Virtua Fighter 2

The games were removed because anytime an update occurred on the OS, it would mess up the game. Since they were unpopular, Sega decided to cut them off. Anyone who bought the games before the removal will still have access to them. Sega also announced that if the games are highly wanted again, they will be sold again.
