Eiji Aonuma: Zelda Wii U’s Graphics Have Improved Since E3

The Legend of Zelda producer, Eiji Aonuma, was interviewed this week in an issue of Famitsu (translated by Nintendo Everything). Although most of the discussion was focused on Majora’s Mask 3D, a few questions were asked about the upcoming Zelda Wii U. When asked about the game’s graphics, Aonuma answered “Now it looks more amazing than what was shown at E3.”

He also mentioned that many art styles were considered to suit a Zelda game set in a wide open world before deciding on the one shown at E3. Aonuma talked about the enemy shown in the debut trailer as well, saying that the team working on the game wanted to create a situation where the player thinks “If an enemy like this appears, how would you beat it?”
